Sign your name: I support legislation to reduce gun violence in Tennessee

Tennessee is 9th in the nation for gun deaths.

We are 9th in the nation for accidental shootings.

We are 12th in the nation for suicide by firearm.

Gun deaths have surpassed motor vehicle deaths.

Enough is enough.

We need common sense legislation to reduce gun violence.

We need background checks for every sale.

We need to ensure domestic abusers can't buy guns.

We will do whatever it takes to end gun violence in Tennessee.

Ban the sale of military style assault weapon from Tennessee. It is time to serve the people rather than the gun lobby purchased by the NRA.

Why do every day people need AKA-anything, any type of multi-clip, multi-rounds weaponry? The only purpose for these weapons is for warfare. Individuals who have these guns should get as maximum a sentence as those who use them, because that is the only reason to own these guns, is for mass murder. Even our municipal police forces should never have these guns, and if they have any they should be in steel vault under maximum security, just like a bank. They should never have to use these type of weapons. Even former military should not have access to these guns. Active military in this country should not have access to them in the 52 United States. ANY of THESE TYPE WEAPONS should be under steel vaulted, maximum security. We have so much security in this country and why can we not find the people who have these guns and take away the right for gun-sellers to sell these guns – they are only helping to promote violence on a mass scale.

Don’t leave this mess to the next generation. They’ll look back at us with shame.
