Senator Heidi Campbell
Tennessee State Senator Heidi Campbell is a Nashville native, a mom, and a former music industry executive who made history as the first female Mayor of the City of Oak Hill. She is widely recognized for her leadership on issues that matter to Tennesseans, including fiscal responsibility, equity, local business development, the environment, education, social health, and the well being of women and children.
Biography
In the Tennessee State Senate, Senator Campbell brings a compassionate, data driven approach to policy making. Her current legislative priority in the Tennessee Waste to Jobs Act, a transformative extended producer responsibility initiative that will generate more than $300 million for recycling infrastructure and education at no cost to taxpayers.
Senator Campbell has served as Chair of the Davidson County Delegation and currently serves on key legislative committees, including Fiscal Review, Agriculture, Energy and Natural Resources, and Transportation and Safety. She also serves on the Tennessee Advisory Commission on Intergovernmental Relations and is the state lead of the Environment Committee for the Southern Legislative Conference.
She lives near Radnor Lake with her husband Andrew, their two children, and a few goldendoodles.
